Occupational Therapist with special interest in hand and upper extremity injuries Carol has been practicing in the area of hand therapy since 2004. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. Carol has ten years of experience working in close relationship with Plastic and Orthopaedic Surgeons who treat acute care hand and upper extremity injuries in both a fracture clinic and outpatient hand therapy program. She is knowledgeable in a variety of hand conditions and in performing accurate hand therapy assessments and the development/implementation of effective treatment programs. Over the course of working as an Occupational Therapist in a hand therapy program, she has the expertise in the management of scar tissue, wound care, splint fabrication, range of motion techniques, modalities, desensitization, return to work/daily activities and patient education cialis female. Carol is dedicated to attending yearly hand therapy conferences/educational courses for new and updated techniques/protocols for the implementation into her hand therapy practice.
